Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport is scheduled to be constructed to serve the city of Qingdao in Shandong Province, China. The airport received approval in December 2013.[2] It will be located in Jiaodong, Jiaozhou, 39 kilometres (24 mi) from the center of Qingdao.[1]


The airport will have two runways, which are 3,600 and 3,200 meters long, respectively (class 4F). It will have a 450,000 square metres (4,800,000 sq ft) terminal building.[1]
