The 2014 Chinese Skating Association, it was the third event of six in the 2014–15 Grand Prix, a senior-level invitational competition series.

The event was held in Shanghai from 7–9 November 2014. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters also earned points towards qualifying for the Grand Prix Final.

Changes to preliminary roster

Results

Men

Prior to the free skate, Yan Han and Yuzuru Hanyu collided on the ice during warm-up. Both had visible injuries and were bleeding yet still chose to compete. Hanyu later received stitches for his injuries.[27][28][29]
