Boy with the Blues was released in early July 2009 as an iTunes exclusive EP. It contained two songs not previously available on general release and also a brand new remix of The track "(Get Off Your) High Horse Lady" From Oasis' seventh studio album, Dig Out Your Soul.

The first two tracks were only available on the Dig Out Your Soul Deluxe Boxset Bonus Disc, whilst the third track had only been released as a listen only track on Oasisinet's Radio Supernova.
