Alex Charak (born January 4) is an American actor, writer, and comedian. He played the role of Elwood Hoffman on the daytime soap opera As the World Turns.

Charak was born in Lake Success, New York. He is a graduate of The Wheatley School in Old Westbury, New York. He attended French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts, New York University, The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

He is 1/3 of the sketch comedy group Drcoolsex and co-creator of the web series Chronic Gamer Girl.
