Leucadia is a community located in Encinitas, in North San Diego County, California.

The name Leucadia is of Greek origin. Lefkada (Leucadia) is one of the Ionian Islands.[1] The community was originally founded around 1870 by English spiritualists[2] seeking freedom of worship,[3] and gave Leucadia and its streets their Roman-Greco names: Hymettus, Neptune, Phoebe, Daphne.[2]
