Liêm Hoang Ngoc

Liêm Hoang-Ngoc (born 11 December 1964 in Saigon, South Vietnam) is a French economist and Member of the European Parliament[1] elected in the 2009 European election for the East France constituency.

Hoang-Ngoc is an associate professor at the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. He is a member of the French Socialist Party, where he is close to the left of the party organized around Henri Emmanuelli. He is also a member of the alter-globalization collective Attac.

In the 2009 European elections, he was the second candidate on the PS list in the East region.
