Line 5 of Shenzhen Metro (Huanzhong Line) is a metro line in operation. It runs from Qianhaiwan to Huangbeiling forming an arc around central Shenzhen. It is opened on June 2011. Average daily ridership exceeds 500,000 people.[1] On May 5, 2014 653,100 passengers used the line, setting a new record.[2]
