List of Indianapolis neighborhoods

The following is a list of neighborhoods and districts within the city limits of Indianapolis, Indiana. Some of these neighborhoods were unincorporated areas and incorporated towns that were annexed by Indianapolis. Others are towns or cities that retain their legal identity as included towns or excluded cities under Unigov, the consolidated city–county government of Indianapolis and Marion County. Many are areas that have always been part of Indianapolis, but have become identified by a particular name.
