Looney Tunes: Rabbits Run is an animated direct-to-video film based on The Looney Tunes Show, produced by Warner Bros. Animation.[2] It is the first new Looney Tunes direct-to-video film in nine years since Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas.[3] The film was directed by Jeff Siergey, a supervising animator on Space Jam and lead animator on Looney Tunes: Back in Action.[3] He was also a director on The Looney Tunes Show.[3] It was released on August 4, 2015 by Warner Home Video,[3] but it was released early on July 7, 2015 on Vudu and Walmart.[4][5]
The film features Bugs Bunny and his girlfriend Lola Bunny involved in a scheme surrounding the invention of a highly sought-after invisibility spray, which takes them to the streets of New York City and Paris.[6]
The film was released on DVD with the bonus cartoons "Best Friends" (the pilot episode of The Looney Tunes Show) and the 3D animated theatrical shorts Coyote Falls, Fur of Flying, Rabid Rider, and I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat.[7]
