Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen is a hotel in the original downtown area of Xiamen. Opened in 1992, it is the first international luxury hotel built in Xiamen. The Millennium Harbourview is operated under the management of the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels chain. The Millennium Harbourview spans 10,000 square feet (930 m2) of meeting and dining space, ranging from ballrooms, function rooms, to breakout rooms. It offers 352 rooms & suites and provides corporate and leisure amenities for travelers. [1]

The design of this hotel was originally conceived by the Singaporean architect, whose aim was to bring to life the symbolic "Mer-lion" of Singapore. The entrance to the hotel has been designed in the shape of a roaring lion's head. To capture the most of the sun's natural lighting, the 352 guests rooms were constructed with a full length floor-ceiling windows. Further the hotel's design causes the majority of all its rooms to have a harbor view.

The hotel hosts 4 restaurants with a variety of gourmet cuisines. [2]
