Nammoora Mandara Hoove (Kannada: ನಮ್ಮೂರ ಮಂದಾರ ಹೂವೆ) is a 1997 Kannada movie by Sunil Kumar Desai starring Shivrajkumar, Ramesh, Prema.[1] The film was remade in Tamil as Kangalin Vaarthaigal.


Shivrajkumar comes to Ramesh's (his close friend), home town and falls in love with the girl whom Ramesh loves (Prema). Although the rest of the movie is about this love triangle, the movie is generally noted for effectively capturing and utilising the natural beauty of the forests of Yana it's shoot around Sirsi, Uttara Kannada. The movie was a super hit because of the strong story line, great music and awesome starcast. Famous RJ Vinayak Joshi has acted as a child actor in the movie. The movie was directed by Sunil Kumar Desai and produced by B Jayashree Devi. The movie is remembered to this day for its music. The movie won many film awards like Filmfare and Udaya Cine Awards.
