There are many researches going on Sri Lanka. Most are based on universities, government organizations, Semi governmental organizations and nongovernmental organizations. In Sri Lanka Research are funded by many Sri Lankan and foreign institutions.

Apex body in Sri Lanka for government research funding is National Research Council of Sri Lanka.[1]
