Tom Hussey

Tom Hussey (1910-1982) was a Major League Baseball announcer for the Boston Red Sox from 1939–1955 and the Boston Braves from 1939-1950. He was a secondary play-by-play announcer for home games and recreated road games off wire tickers. When the Braves and Red Sox separated their television and radio coverage in 1951, Hussey became exclusive to the Red Sox. He was in the booth for the Red Sox's first televised game in 1948.[1]
