United States Fed Cup team


The United States Fed Cup team is the most successful national team in Fed Cup competition. The team has won 17 titles and finished second a further 11 times, out of 44 participations.

History

The United States won the inaugural Fed Cup in 1963. They hold the record for most ties won, with 133, including 37 in a row. They won seven straight titles between 1976 and 1982.

The United States also won the Wightman Cup, a team competition between the USA and Great Britain, 51 times out of 61.
