Willy Rasmussen

Willy Lorang Rasmussen (born 3 December 1937 in Kongsberg, Buskerud) is a former Norwegian javelin thrower. He represented Bergkam and IK Tjalve.

At the 1960 Summer Olympics he finished fifth in the javelin final with a throw of 78.36 metres. He finished twelfth at the 1958 European Championships and ninth at the 1962 European Championships.[1] He became Norwegian champion in 1958, 1959, 1961 and 1965.[2]

His personal best throw was 84.18 metres (old type), achieved in August 1961 on Bislett stadion.[3]
