in india there are many religion based personal civil legal system dealing with personal affairs such as marriage, divorce, inheritance etc. they are hindu laws, sharia laws, christian laws, Sikh laws etc. these laws create problem in time of inter caste relationship. to solve this problem uniform legal system such as uniform civil code is necessary. besides these laws dont treat their subject in similar way. sharia law tortured women more than hindu laws and christian laws. to save muslim women from sharia law uniform civil code is necessary. in ths book all the legal principle supporting uniform civil code has been discussed and the opposition arguments has been answered. hope it enlightens the lawyers in future.
