“The Analects of Confucius” are considered a record of the words and acts of Confucius and his disciples, as well as the discussions they held. Written during the Spring and Autumn Period through the Warring States Period(475 BC - 221 BC) the Analects is the representative work of Confucianism and continues to have a tremendous influence on Chinese and East Asian thoughts and values today. In neutrosophy, between two ends there are many, sometimes a continuous range of neutralities (degrees of middle, or degrees of synthesis). Each middle (called “neutrality” or “indeterminacy” in neutrosophy) is a k% degree of truth and a (100-k)% degree of falsehood. Florentin's Laws : If Anything Can Go Wrong, Pass it Onto Someone Else!

Florentin’s Laws are neither Murphy’s (pessimistic) Laws nor Peter’s (optimistic) Laws, but partially pessimistic and partially optimistic, while another part is neutral (ambiguous: neither pessimistic nor optimistic) – as in neutrosophic logic. Therefore, each Florentin’s law includes negatives and positives, unlike Murphy’s law which has only negative attributes, and respectively Peter’s law which has mostly positive attributes or results....

Rank Distance Bicodes and Their Generalization

Neutrosophic Interpretation of Tao Te Ching

Our book will update the old Chinese thinking in Tao Te Ching to the modern way of life, where contradictions are accepted and two opposite ideas 'A' and 'nonA' and their neutrality 'neutA' can all three be true at the same time. Firstly, we are willing to point out that 'Tao Te Ching' already has some limitation, because many questions we are interested in cannot be answered within 'Tao Te Ching'. For example, 'Tao Te Ching' basically discussed the matters in China, however considering all possible situations it should matter in foreign countries as well, i.e. the “global village”. This was impossible in Lao Tzu’s time. Secondly, if the original “Tao Te Ching” is regarded as “Positive Tao Te Ching”, its opposite is “Negative Tao Te Ching”, while the intermediate or compound state is “Neutral Tao Te Ching”. Thus, our book presents the way to extend the original “Tao Te Ching” in various neutrosophic interpretations....

Quasi Set Topological Vector Subspaces

Not only we use vector spaces but we also use S-vector spaces, set vector spaces, semigroup vector spaces and group vector spaces to build set topological vector subspaces. To every quasi set topological vector subspace T relative to the set P  F, we have a lattice associated with it we call this lattice as the Representative Quasi Set Topological Vector subspace lattice (RQTV-lattice) of T relative to P. When T is finite we have a nice representation of them. In case T is infinite we have a lattice which is of infinite order. We can in all cases give the atoms of the lattice which is in fact the basic set of T over P. It is pertinent to keep on record that the T and the basic set (or the atoms of the RQTV-lattice) depends on the set P over which it is defined. In this Conference, several professors gave a talk on Smarandache Notions and many participants lectured on them both extensively and intensively. 3. Remarks Sandor [2] has considered the problem of finding the S-perfect and completely S-perfect numbers, but his proof is not complete. He has proved that the only S-perfect of the form n = p q is n = 6 and there is no S-perfect number of the form n = 2kq where k ¸ 2 is an integer and q is an odd prime. On the other hand, Theorem 2.1 gives all the S-perfect numbers. Again, Sandor only proved that, the only completely S-perfect number of the form n = p2q is n = 28, and all completely S-perfect numbers are given by Theorem 2.2. Theorem 2.1 and Theorem 2.2 ¯nd respectively the S-perfect and completely S-perfect numbers when S(1) = 1. The situation is quite different if one adopts the convention that S(0) = 1. In the latter case, as has been proved by Gronas [3], all completely S-perfect numbers are n = p(prime), 9, 16, 24. All that is known about the S-perfect numbers is that, among the ¯rst 106 numbers, n = 12 is the only S-perfect number (see Ashbacher [4]). Introduction to N-Adaptive Fuzzy Models to Analyze Public Opinion on Aids

We have used the 2-adaptive fuzzy model having the two fuzzy models, fuzzy matrices model and BAMs viz. model to analyze the views of public about HIV/ AIDS disease, patient and the awareness program. This book has five chapters and 6 appendices. The first chapter just recalls the definition of four fuzzy models used in this book and gives illustration of some of them. Chapter two introduces the new n-adaptive fuzzy models. Chapter three uses for the first time 2 adaptive fuzzy models to study psychological and sociological problems about HIV/AIDS. In this chapter for the first time we introduce the new class of n-adaptive fuzzy models (n a positive integer and n ≥ 2) and illustrate it. These n-adaptive fuzzy models can analyze a problem using different models so one can get in one case the hidden pattern, in one case the maximum time period in some case output state vector for a given input vector and so on. The care of the sick, elderly, handicapped, dying and the young has been historically a female role and as women have moved into paid labor, this role has been devalued creating barriers both to those who try to juggle career and family and to those who for a time prioritize the caregiving side, with serious financial and social penalties. Arguments are noted from sociology, health, economics and feminist theory to support the claim that recognition of the care sector is a vital step to achieving equality and ‘best interests’ goals. After the experiments were completed, the life span of such “atoms” was calculated theoretically in Chapiro’s works [61,62,63]. His main idea was that nuclear forces, acting between nucleon and anti-nucleon, can keep them far away from each other, hindering their annihilation. For instance, a proton and anti-proton are located at the opposite side of the same orbit and move around the orbit’s centre. If the diameter of their orbit is much larger than the diameter of the “annihilation area”, they can be kept from annihilation (see fig. 3). But because the orbit, according to Quantum Mechanics, is an actual cloud spreading far around the average radius, at any radius between the proton and the anti-proton there is a probability that they can meet one another at the annihilation distance. Therefore the nucleon---anti-nucleon system annihilates in any case, as this system is unstable by definition having a life span no more than 10-20 sec....

The fourth volume, in my book series of “Collected Papers”, includes 100 published and unpublished articles, notes, (preliminary) drafts containing just ideas to be further investigated, scientific souvenirs, scientific blogs, project proposals, small experiments, solved and unsolved problems and conjectures, updated or alternative versions of previous papers, short or long humanistic essays, letters to the editors...

This short technical paper advocates a bootstrapping algorithm from which we can form a statistically reliable opinion based on limited clinically observed data, regarding whether an osteo-hyperplasia could actually be a case of Ewing’s osteosarcoma. The basic premise underlying our methodology is that a primary bone tumour, if it is indeed Ewing’s osteosarcoma, cannot increase in volume beyond some critical limit without showing metastasis. We propose a statistical method to extrapolate such critical limit to primary tumour volume. Our model does not involve any physiological variables but rather is entirely based on time series observations of increase in primary tumour volume from the point of initial detection to the actual detection of metastases....
