Araxos Airport/Aerodrome (Greek: Αεροδρόμιο Αράξου) (IATA: GPAICAO: LGRX) is a Greek international military / civilian airport located near Araxos cape, Achaea Prefecture and serves the city of Patras as well as the western part of the Peloponese region. It is also known as Araxos National Airport.[3] or Agamemnon Airport.

It serves (primarily) as an active air base for the Hellenic Air Force, with some civilian services to Europe in the summer months.

Transportation

Araxos airport is located west of the city of Patras. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Patras. It takes 50 minutes to reach the city of Pyrgos. There are bus services between Patras and other cities and the airport when there are flights scheduled.
