Kaukana is a village, on the Mediterranean coast in Ragusa province, Sicily. The village only has a few inhabitants in winter but during the summer it gets very crowded thanks to its beaches. Many holidaymakers have summerhouses in Kaukana. In the centre of the village there is an archaeological site dating from the 3rd century BC, when Kaukana was used by the Romans as a harbour. The villages of Marina di Ragusa and Punta Secca are adjacent to Kaukana.
