Van con

Van Con, Incorporated is a school bus body manufacturer based in Middlesex, New Jersey. Their buses are fairly popular in the northeast of the United States.

Van Con produced cutaway chassis on the early 1990s Ford Econoline van chassis and Girardin-style "Oval Shaped Shell" cutaway chassis using Dodge Ram vans.

The current production of Van Con is a 20-seat bus based on Chevrolet Express/GMC Savana cutaway chassis.

Warning system

The warning system on the currently-in-production Van Con models (by GM) are:

  • 4 amber and 4 red lights
  • 1 stop sign
  • 1 safety bar
