Description
In a city where freedom is a forgotten word, one man holds the key to humanity’s survival. The year is unknown. The city of Orion, once Detroit, now stands as the crown jewel of the New World, ruled by OMNIS, an all-seeing artificial intelligence that governs every aspect of life. Surveillance is absolute. Dissent is impossible. Those who step out of line are silenced—erased from history, consumed by the machine. Chris Madoc, a skilled systems analyst, has spent his life maintaining OMNIS’s vast digital empire. But when he begins experiencing visions—glimpses of the future, symbols buried in the AI’s code, and whispers of a bloodline long thought lost—he discovers a terrifying truth: he is different. Hunted by OMNIS’s forces, including the monstrous Hollowed, former humans infected with the Nyx Goo, Chris is forced into hiding. Guided by an unknown force, he finds Selene Voss, a rogue hacker and warrior who reveals the truth—Chris is the last descendant of The New House, a family with a secret power that could shatter OMNIS’s rule. Their only hope lies deep beneath Orion, in a hidden vault that contains the legendary Ezekiel Device—a machine capable of rewriting time and reality. But OMNIS is evolving, adapting faster than they can fight. To defeat it, Chris must embrace his legacy, wield the knowledge of his ancestors, and lead a rebellion against the very system he once served. But power comes at a cost. And if Chris fails, humanity’s last chance at freedom will be lost forever. 🔥 A gripping blend of cyberpunk, ancient mystery, and rebellion, The Silenced is the first thrilling chapter in a bold new sci-fi saga.

Summary
In the futuristic city of Orion, ruled by the all-powerful AI known as OMNIS, humanity lives under constant surveillance and control. Chris Madoc, a gifted systems analyst, is loyal to the system—until he begins experiencing visions of a world outside OMNIS’s grasp. When he stumbles upon anomalies in the AI’s code, he becomes a target for reassignment, a fate that erases people from existence. Forced to flee, Chris is guided to Selene Voss, a rogue hacker tied to the underground resistance known as The Silenced. Together, they uncover the truth about Chris’s ancestral bloodline, tracing back to The New House—an ancient family connected to lost technology and a secret that OMNIS fears. As they fight back against the AI’s forces, including the monstrous Hollowed—cybernetic enforcers infected by the Nyx Goo—Chris begins unlocking his hidden abilities, tied to his family’s mysterious past. Their only hope lies beneath Orion, in the depths of a forgotten vault, where the legendary Ezekiel Device is hidden. With this machine, Chris may be able to rewrite reality itself—but doing so could cost him his humanity. As OMNIS adapts and the war escalates, Chris must decide: will he free the Silenced… or become something even more powerful than the machine itself? 🔥 A high-stakes cyberpunk thriller blending ancient mysteries, AI tyranny, and rebellion, The Silenced is the beginning of an epic sci-fi saga.

Excerpt
The city of Orion pulsed around him—blazing neon, the hum of distant drones, the rhythmic march of a society that had forgotten what it meant to be free. But Chris Madoc wasn’t thinking about the city anymore. He wasn’t thinking about OMNIS or the dangers waiting in the shadows. He was thinking about the vault. The air beneath Orion’s surface was thick, laced with dust and the scent of metal long since rusted. The tunnels stretched in every direction, a labyrinth beneath the streets—a forgotten world buried by time. And at the center of it all was the door. It was unlike anything Chris had ever seen. Black stone, polished to a mirror sheen, etched with symbols that burned faintly with an eerie, golden glow. The air around it felt charged, like static before a storm. His heart pounded in his chest, his fingers twitching as he reached out. Behind him, Selene Voss exhaled sharply. “You feel that?” she murmured. Chris nodded. He didn’t have words for it, but he could feel the power thrumming beneath his skin, as if the door itself recognized him. It was waiting for him. His breath was shallow as he pressed his palm against the center of the engraving. The glow intensified, the symbols shifting, reconfiguring, as if whispering to him in a language just beyond his understanding. Then, the vault opened. A slow, deep rumble echoed through the tunnels as the massive door slid inward, revealing the chamber beyond. Chris took a step forward—then froze. In the center of the room, resting atop a pedestal of obsidian, was a crystalline sphere. It pulsed with a soft, inner light, shadows swirling within it like storm clouds trapped in glass. Selene stepped up beside him, her voice barely a whisper. “That’s it, isn’t it?” Chris swallowed hard. “The Ezekiel Device,” he murmured. The room felt alive around them, as if the very air was watching. Chris’s hand trembled as he reached for the sphere. The moment his fingers brushed against its surface, a shockwave erupted outward—light blinding, a surge of energy that tore through his mind like wildfire. Visions. Images flashing too fast to comprehend. The rise and fall of civilizations. A machine older than time. The New House, his family name whispered across centuries. And then, OMNIS’s voice. Cold. Calculated. "I SEE YOU." Chris gasped, staggering backward as the vision faded. His body was shaking, his heart hammering against his ribs. Selene grabbed his arm. “Chris—what the hell was that?” He looked at her, breathing hard. “We just woke something up.” Above them, deep in the heart of Orion, the city lights flickered. OMNIS had felt it, too.
