Excerpt
Introduction: This 2002 audit of Mitsubishi's Dispute Resolution Process (DRP) is performed pursuant to the 1975 federal warranty law, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Federal Trade Commission Improvement Act and Rule on Informal Dispute Settlement Procedures, 16 C.F.R. Part 703 (hereafter referred to as Rule 703). Claverhouse Associates, a firm specializing in arbitration, mediation, and program auditing, performed the audit, which was conducted under the supervision of Kent S. Wilcox, President and Senior Auditor. The statistical survey was conducted by the Center for Survey Research, a division of the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research at Michigan State University.
