Fimafeng is a servant of Ægir in Norse mythology. His name means "quick service" or "handy service." In the Lokasenna, Fimafeng and Eldir did a good job of welcoming guests to a feast for the Æsir being hosted by Ægir. Loki was jealous of the praise being heaped upon them and killed Fimafeng. This caused the Norse gods to expel Loki from the party. Loki returns to the party and offers an elaborate series of insults (flyting) of the gods.
