Roads in Hungary

Motorways in Hungary (Hungarian: Autópálya) are first-class high-speed highways. As of December 2011, the total length of Hungarian motorways is around 1,350 kilometers. Between 2007 and 2009, the following motorways were completed: M7, connecting Croatia and Hungary, and M3, which connects Nyíregyháza and Debrecen to Budapest. In 2008 September, the eastern part of the M0 ring road was completed as well.
